To provide you with a seamless experience, we collect:
- Basic Profile Info: Such as your display name or email when you sign in (e.g., via Google or Apple) to sync your data across devices.
- Expense Data: The amounts, categories, and notes you manually enter.
- Captured Media: The voice notes you record or the receipt images you upload to be parsed by the app.
2. How AI Processes Your Data (Important)
Our core feature is making logging easy. To achieve this, we securely send your text notes, voice recordings, and receipt images to advanced AI models (like Google Gemini).
Your Privacy: These AI providers are used strictly as a processing tool. Your personal data is not used to train public AI models or shared with marketers.
3. Storage and Sharing
Your expenses are stored securely in the cloud so your dashboard and insights are always up to date across your devices. We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted cloud infrastructure providers (like Google Firebase) that host our app and keep your data secure.
4. Your Rights & Deletion
You own your data. If you decide to stop using Spendly, you can delete your account and all associated expense data directly from the app settings, or by emailing us at ahmed.adel.contact@gmail.com.
